Whether you seek to solve a temporary accessibility problem or require a permanent ramp solution, Atlanta Home Modifications, LLC is prepared to help you achieve your goal. Atlanta Home Modifications specializes in combining expert design with affordable disability equipment and installation.
Threshold ramps are used at door and ramp transition points to ensure a smooth pattern of movement. EZ-Access threshold ramps are often used to transition between a door and the top of a ramp landing or porch. Exterior door thresholds are sloped away from the door at a slope of 1/8 inch per foot. Beveled aluminum transition plates are installed at the ramp to ground transition.
Zero-Step Entry
One popular feature of universal design in residential home design is the zero-step entry. Your home should have at least one entry point that that does not require stepping up, but in reality, most homes today have steps at the front entrance. Every community benefits as handicap accessible and universal home design is promoted.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column]
